Green Run is 8-2 against Salem since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Green Run Stallions will take on the Salem Sundevils in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Salem is hoping to do what Kempsville couldn't on Tuesday: put an end to Green Run's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Green Run strolled past Kempsville with points to spare, taking the game 66-52.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Salem). They snuck past First Colonial with a 71-66 victory on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Sundevils as it put an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Salem's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Green Run, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Everything came up roses for Green Run against Salem in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured a 49-20 victory. Does Green Run have another victory up their sleeve, or will Salem turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
