East Moline United hadn't done well against Rockridge recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Panthers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rockets, sneaking past 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted against the Rockets since September 26, 2019.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was East Moline United who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 18-25, 25-18.
