Recap: Jordan Christian Prep Seahawks vs. McKeel Academy Wildcats
The Jordan Christian Prep Seahawks won the last time they faced the McKeel Academy Wildcats, and things went their way on Thursday too. Jordan Christian Prep strolled past McKeel Academy with points to spare, taking the game 64-48. With that victory, Jordan Christian Prep brought their scoring average up to 51.2 points per game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jordan Christian Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Delyana Morris, who dropped a triple-double on 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Delissa Morris, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why McKeel Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ava Anderson. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 26 points and 13 rebounds. The matchup was Anderson's third in a row with at least ten points. Nicaria McHellon was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 9 rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Jordan Christian Prep and bumps their season record up to 2-2. As for McKeel Academy, they have yet to win a game at home this season, leaving them with a 5-3 record.
Jordan Christian Prep will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Frostproof at 7:00 p.m. on December 11th. Frostproof comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 19 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for McKeel Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tenoroc at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Tenoroc comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
