Oskaloosa had to settle for second on Monday, but Harper Heston sure wasn't going down easily. Heston was dynamite, pitching 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
