Volleyball Recap: Robinson Comes Up Short

Robinson managed to slip by Gatesville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rockets came up short against the Hornets on Friday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rockets have suffered against the Hornets since October 11, 2022.

Robinson has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-15 record this season. As for Gatesville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Robinson will square off against rival La Vega at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Gatesville is set to challenge their familiar foe China Spring at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
