Volleyball Recap: South Lenoir Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Lenoir lost against Rosewood back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2. While the Blue Devils didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 25-15 in the first set.

South Lenoir took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-16, 20-25, 25-18, 15-12.

Bella Mazura was nothing short of spectacular for Rosewood: she had 32 assists and 20 digs. Mazura is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Khiry Reese, who had 23 digs and two assists.

South Lenoir has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Rosewood, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

South Lenoir wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Farmville Central on the 10th. As for Rosewood, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Wallace-Rose Hill on the 9th.
