Keller extended their winning streak to five on Saturday, bumping them up to 5-1. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Clear Springs Chargers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 on Saturday.

Having lost for the first time this season, Clear Springs fell to 9-1. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Clear Springs' loss came despite strong showings from Lianna Kearns and Caylee Young. Kearns had 16 digs and one assist, while Young had six kills and four digs. Young is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last six games she's played. Brylie Reitz also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Looking ahead, Keller will be playing in front of their home fans against V.R. Eaton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Indians' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Clear Springs will be paying especially close attention to Keller's game: after Keller faces off against Amarillo, they'll take on Clear Springs again at 10:30 a.m.
