Football Recap: Huge Rushing Attack Leads Crescenta Valley over Glendale + How To Watch

Crescenta Valley's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 42-34 win over the Glendale Nitros. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Nitros: they've now won seven in a row.

Xavier Thompson had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 250 yards and four scores on only 15 carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles and defending one pass.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Crescenta Valley was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 275 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Glendale lost, don't look at Arman Papazyan. Despite the final result, he rushed for 217 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry.

Crescenta Valley now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Glendale, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
