Basketball Recap: Nativity BVM Falls Despite Big Games from Trey Keating and Noah Dolbin

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Nativity BVM can now relate to. They took a 65-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln Leadership Academy Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 79-73 back in December of 2024.

Nativity BVM's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Noah Dolbin, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 16 rebounds, and Trey Keating, who posted 19 points and six boards. Keating's big performance that evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Nativity BVM is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-10. As for Lincoln Leadership Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Nativity BVM does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln Leadership Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lions duke it out with the Panthers on Friday. Bethlehem Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 25 contests -- so hopefully Lincoln Leadership Academy likes a good challenge.
