Orange Vista proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Canyon Springs Cougars. The Coyotes haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Orange Vista wouldn't go down easily and took Canyon Springs into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-19, 25-20, 23-25, 15-10.

Orange Vista's win bumped their record up to 11-14. As for Canyon Springs, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Coincidentally, Orange Vista and Canyon Springs will both be playing Perris the next time they take the court. The Cougars will head out to face the Panthers at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Coyotes will head out to face them at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
