Volleyball Game Preview: Chapel Hill Tigers vs. New Bern Bears

The Chapel Hill Tigers will square off against the New Bern Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

New Bern will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Chapel Hill extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday. The Tigers blew past Southern School of Energy and Sustainability 3-0.

Chapel Hill found their leader in freshman Leila Tooloee, who had four aces and three digs.

Chapel Hill was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in four consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only New Bern walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 3-0 win on Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-9, 25-12.

New Bern's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Chapel Hill, their win bumped their record up to 17-7.
