Baseball Recap: Knightdale Comes Up Short

Knightdale lost against Cary back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Knights came up short against the Imps, falling 11-0. The Knights' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it eight in a row.

Knightdale's record now sits at 4-12. As for Cary, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-9.

Coming up, Knightdale will head out to square off against Rolesville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cary, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Athens Drive at 6:00 p.m.
