Volleyball Recap: Southridge Comes Up Short

After flying high against Killian on Thursday, Southridge came back down to earth. The Spartans came up short against the Hialeah Thoroughbreds on Tuesday, falling 3-0. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Thoroughbreds when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14, 25-17.

Southridge's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Hialeah, their record now sits at 6-4.

Southridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Westland Hialeah on the 13th. As for Hialeah, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Sunset on the 9th.
