Coronado won the last time they faced Rancho and things went their way  on Friday too. The Cougars blew past the Rams 10-0. Considering the Cougars have won eight games by more than seven  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
The team  relied heavily on  Alohi Mundon, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and two  RBI. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in March.  Charlotte Bendlin also deserves some recognition as  she  launched her first  home run of the season.
 Coronado was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .444. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  batting average total in four consecutive  contests.
Coronado is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record  this season. As for Rancho, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
 Looking ahead, Coronado will square off against Palo Verde at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their  17th straight  victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rancho, they will take on Clark at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday.
