Basketball Recap: James Logan Triumphs

James Logan's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the American Eagles by a score of 63-56. For the Colts, this counts as revenge for the 67-60 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why American lost, don't look at Dylan JaWei Lee. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. Lee has been hot recently, having posted ten or more boards the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ajay Raj, who posted ten points.

James Logan's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-11. As for American, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

James Logan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-61 victory against Irvington on the 9th. As for American, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 56-46 loss against Mission San Jose on the 9th.
