Preview: Clover Park Timberwolves vs. Steilacoom Sentinels

The Clover Park Timberwolves will head out on the road to square off against the Steilacoom Sentinels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.

Clover Park put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 65-25 win over Orting at home. The victory was just what Clover Park needed coming off of a 66-27 loss in their prior matchup.

Kamila Salanoa continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 36 points and 26 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Fa?aluaina Salanoa, who scored 16 points along with five assists and two steals.

Meanwhile, Steilacoom scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Tuesday. They blew past Orting 60-16 at home. The team's offensive explosion also rewarded Steilacoom with their most commanding win of the season.

Clover Park is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Steilacoom, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Clover Park didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Steilacoom in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 41-36 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clover Park since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
