Weimar is a perfect 5-0 against Kenedy since November of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Lions at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Weimar hadn't beaten Flatonia on the road since October 4, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Wildcats took down the Bulldogs 21-7.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Kenedy's strategy against Flatonia last Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Lions blew the Bulldogs out of the water with a 33-3 final score. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Kenedy's win came from a few key players Weimar will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jericho Jackson, who threw for 146 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes. He is becoming a predictor of Kenedy's success: when he posts at least three passing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Isiah Morin, who picked up 53 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Kenedy's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Weimar, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Everything came up roses for Weimar against Kenedy in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 56-21 win. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
