Football Game Preview: Riddle vs. Butte Falls/Crater Lake

Riddle will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Butte Falls/Crater Lake at 7:00 PM. Riddle have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Butte Falls/Crater Lake are surely hoping to exploit.

Riddle came into their this week averaging 53.67 points per game, but Riddle fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They took a serious blow against Camas Valley last Saturday, falling 0-56. The low total for Riddle limited their streak of high-flying scores to six in a row.

Meanwhile, Butte Falls/Crater Lake put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They blew past Glendale 50-26. Butte Falls/Crater Lake were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Butte Falls/Crater Lake's win lifted them to 4-2 while Riddle's defeat dropped them down to 5-2. We'll see if Butte Falls/Crater Lake's success rolls on or if Riddle are able to steal their positive momentum.
