Volleyball Recap: Mississinawa Valley Has No Trouble Against Preble Shawnee

Mississinawa Valley waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Preble Shawnee Arrows. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Blackhawks this season.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Mississinawa Valley was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-11, 25-14.

Makenna Hoggatt paced Mississinawa Valley's offense, picking up ten kills. Hoggatt got some help from Danika Neargarder and her 16 assists. Cora Hoggatt controlled things from the service line, finishing with ten aces.

Mississinawa Valley's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Preble Shawnee, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.
