Baseball Recap: St. Paul's Comes Up Short

St. Paul entered their contest against Boys Latin on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Crusaders fell just short of the Lakers by a score of 4-3. The Crusaders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lakers earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

St. Paul's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 11-6. As for Boys Latin, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-5.

As of now, neither St. Paul's nor the Lakers have any future games scheduled.
