The Pine Forest Trojans are taking a road trip to face off against the Cape Fear Colts at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Cape Fear will be up against a hot Pine Forest squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Pine Forest's defense stepped up to hand Westover a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday.

Kaylen Sykes and Milana Fair scored all three of Pine Forest's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, everything went Cape Fear's way against Hoke County on Friday as Cape Fear made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Colts in their matchups with the Bucks: they've now won five in a row.

The win got Cape Fear back to even at 1-1. As for Pine Forest, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
