Volleyball Recap: Marysville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Marysville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Center Cougars. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Cougars when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Marysville took Center into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21, 6-25, 24-26, 15-9.

Marysville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Center, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

Marysville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Oakmont on the 23rd. As for Center, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Lincoln on the 23rd.
