Tri-Village had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They strolled past the Thurgood Marshall Cougars with points to spare, taking the game 59-42. The 59-point effort marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Tri-Village pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Thurgood Marshall, they moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
