Volleyball Recap: Jordan-Matthews Victorious

While Jordan-Matthews's win against Central Davidson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Jets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Spartans on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Jets have posted since April 20, 2024.

Jordan-Matthews now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Central Davidson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jordan-Matthews will welcome Seaforth at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Jets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Central Davidson, they will host Triad Math and Science Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans are facing the Bengals at the right time seeing as the Bengals are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
