Baseball Recap: Trigg County Takes a Loss

Trigg County lost to Henderson County back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats lost 14-2 to the Colonels.

Trigg County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season. As for Henderson County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-8.

Trigg County and Henderson County could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings. The Wildcats (ranked 215th) will meet Murray (ranked 83rd) at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Henderson County will take on Larue County at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank disadvantage (87 vs. 27).
