Football Recap: Bald Eagle Area Triumphs

After losing to Bellefonte the last time they met, Bald Eagle Area decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eagles managed a 19-14 win over the Raiders on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Luke Hosband was nothing short of spectacular: he picked up 103 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 103 receiving yards gave him a new career-high.

Bald Eagle Area's run defense was locked in: Bellefonte could only muster 2.3 yards per carry. The team can thank Drew Nagle for the heroic effort on defense: he. Sadly, that's becoming something of a trend for Bald Eagle Area; they were averaging 4.9yards per carry per game earlier this season, but in their last three matchups they've fallen to only 4.2 per game.

Although Bellefonte took the loss, they still got scores from Ashten Howell and Kaven Smith-kirk.

The victory got Bald Eagle Area back to even at 3-3. As for Bellefonte, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-4.
