Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chavez). They blew past the McFarland Cougars 14-3 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won nine in a row.

Chavez let Haley McClintock and Zoe Chavez run wild. McClintock went 3-for-4 with five RBI, one triple, and one stolen base, while Chavez got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three runs gave Chavez a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alexis Elizondo, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Chavez always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .722. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Chavez's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for McFarland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Chavez will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cougars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
