Adair County extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Dawson Gilbert. The Adair County Indians slipped by the George Rogers Clark Cardinals 62-61 on Saturday thanks in part to Gilbert, who shot 6-for-8 from long range and dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. Those ten boards gave him a new career-high.

Adair County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for George Rogers Clark, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-3.

Adair County will look to defend their home court on Friday against Taylor County at 7:00 p.m. Adair County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Taylor County likes a good challenge. As for George Rogers Clark, they will head out to take on Tates Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. George Rogers Clark is facing Tates Creek at the right time seeing as Tates Creek is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
