Meanwhile, Granville Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Delaware Christian.

While Granville Christian Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 21-25, 25-21, 25-21.

Tree of Life Christian's win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 9-8. As for Granville Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
