Softball Game Preview: Randall Raiders vs. Perryton Rangers

The Randall Raiders will square off against the Perryton Rangers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Randall will be strutting in after a victory while Perryton will be coming in after a defeat.

On Tuesday, Randall made easy work of Hereford and carried off an 11-2 win. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Perryton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against Borger, falling 19-6.

Randall has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. Perryton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.

Randall took their win against Perryton in their previous matchup on March 3rd by a conclusive 16-2. Does Randall have another victory up their sleeve, or will Perryton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
