Adair County won the last time they faced Green County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Dragons. Considering the Indians have won 12 matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Adair County got a massive performance out of Alex Martin, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Martin a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zane Gist, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.

Adair County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Green County only posted an OBP of .375.

Adair County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Green County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season.

Adair County will venture away from home to challenge Casey County at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.03 runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Green County, they will welcome Monroe County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
