Basketball Game Preview: Ness City Eagles vs. Stockton Tigers

The Ness City Eagles will face off against the Stockton Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Last Friday, Ness City took a blow against Victoria, falling 69-33.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Stockton challenged Plainville on Monday. Stockton was dealt a 93-37 loss at the hands of Plainville. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 339th, while the Cardinals are ranked 102nd).

Stockton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Ness City, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.

Ness City beat Stockton 53-41 in their previous meeting back in March of 2021. Will Ness City repeat their success, or does Stockton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
