Basketball Recap: Rosedale Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Rosedale Christian Academy was the 65-60 winner over Prince George?s Christian Academy Blue when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Rosedale Christian Academy Rosedale Panthers took a 66-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Prince George?s Christian Academy Blue Flyers on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Rosedale Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Flyers are ranked 15th).

Despite the loss, Rosedale Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Nazir Anderson, who went 6 of 15 en route to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Mercer, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.

The team also got some help courtesy of Wisdom Carter, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Rosedale Christian Academy dropped their record down to 2-12 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Prince George?s Christian Academy Blue, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.
