Basketball Game Preview: Fargo South Bruins vs. West Fargo Packers

Fargo South hasn't had much luck against West Fargo recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Fargo South Bruins will challenge the West Fargo Packers at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Fargo South is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 15th straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They took a hard 68-54 fall against Fargo North.

Meanwhile, West Fargo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 72-42 defeat at the hands of Fargo Davies. While losing is never fun, the Packers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Eagles are ranked 15th).

Fargo South's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for West Fargo, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Fargo South suffered a grim 73-48 defeat to West Fargo in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Fargo South avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
