After flying high against Grayslake North last Friday, Antioch came back down to earth. The Sequoits fell 25-20 to the Wauconda Bulldogs on Friday. The Sequoits' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Cole Korycanek continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Wauconda, picking up 60 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 56 yards.

Antioch's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 6-2. As for Wauconda, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Antioch will head out to square off against Grant Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Sequoits will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 31 points in their last five matchups. As for Wauconda, they are taking a road trip to take on Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
