Recap: Minford Falcons vs. Valley Indians
The Minford Falcons fell victim to the Valley Indians''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They suffered a rough 24-0 loss at the hands of the Indians. Minford was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Valley apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Valley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Carson Powell out in front who threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 passes. Another player making a difference was Jaekyn Ridout, who picked up 130 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Minford has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Valley, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
Minford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Valley will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against West Liberty-Salem at 7:00 a.m. on October 27th. West Liberty-Salem will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
