Basketball Recap: San Tan Foothills Takes a Loss

After flying high against Catalina back in December of 2024, San Tan Foothills came back down to earth. The San Tan Foothills Sabercats had to suffer through a 63-34 loss at the hands of the Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles. The contest marked the Sabercats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

San Tan Foothills' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Julius Carlisle, who posted 12 points, and Jaylen Fulton, who put up 12 points.

San Tan Foothills moved to 7-4 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Benson the next time they take the court. San Tan Foothills will head out to face Benson at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, while Scottsdale Christian Academy will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
