Soccer Recap: San Luis Comes Up Short

San Luis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 10-2 to the Gila Ridge Hawks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sidewinders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 two weeks ago.

San Luis' loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Gila Ridge, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.

San Luis has already played their next match (against Cibola), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Gila Ridge is taking a road trip to square off against Kofa at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Gila Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6.4 goals per game this season.
