Racine Lutheran/Prairie came into this matchup off a tough 12-run loss on Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of University School of Milwaukee by a score of 8-6 on Monday.

Racine Lutheran/Prairie saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paxton Akins, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Another was Josiah Van Swol, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Milwaukee Reagan hit Milwaukee King with a six-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Generals took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies. The Generals' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Milwaukee King's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-4. As for Racine Lutheran/Prairie, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Racine Lutheran/Prairie might still be hurting after the 16-9 loss they got from Milwaukee King in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Crusaders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
