Basketball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty suffered their biggest loss since December 9, 2023 on Friday. They were outmatched by the Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights and fell 61-32. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Liberty's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Satsuki Bradley, who posted seven points along with six rebounds and three steals, and Samantha Chesnut, who scored five points and three steals. Chesnut is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Neviah Nick was another key player, putting up four points.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Democracy Prep Agassi Campus, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty has already played their next matchup (against Arbor View), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Democracy Prep Agassi Campus will be playing in front of their home fans against Spring Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
