Basketball Recap: Aynor Blue Jackets vs. Dillon Wildcats
Aynor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 55-48 to the Dillon Wildcats. The Blue Jackets were up 19-5 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.
Several Blue Jackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lucas Kamp, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 17 points. Robinson Mendez was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten boards.
Zamaurious Robertson was his usual excellent self, putting up 18 points for Dillon. Another player making a difference was Ejan GrEEn, who posted four points in addition to seven steals and six rebounds.
Aynor's record is now 6-9. As for Dillon, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.
