Saltillo entered their tilt with Grenada on Tuesday with 17 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 18. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Chargers. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

JORDAN EVERS spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on JACK ADAMS, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. COOPER BURLESON was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Saltillo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .513. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Grenada only posted an OBP of .276.

Saltillo's win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Grenada, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.

Saltillo will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Chargers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
