Basketball Recap: Brownfield Comes Up Short

Brownfield was the 38-31 winner over Snyder when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Brownfield Cubs came up short against the Snyder Tigers on Tuesday, falling 61-37. The Cubs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brownfield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Snyder, they moved to 6-12 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Brownfield and Snyder could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Brownfield (ranked 992nd) will meet Canadian (ranked 53rd) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Snyder will face off against Midland Christian at 4:30 p.m. on December 20th down 672 places (822 vs. 150).
