Baseball Recap: Anderson Takes a Loss

Anderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the Central Valley Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 last Friday.

Aaron Aitken was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 1-for-1.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Central Valley, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Anderson is set to challenge their familiar foe Lassen at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Central Valley will square off against rival West Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
