Basketball Recap: Eagletown Piles Up the Points Against Soper

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eagletown). They blew past the Soper Bears, posting a 71-39 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 24 points or more this season.

Eagletown's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Soper, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Eagletown and Soper could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Eagletown will take on Moyers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 190 places (327 vs. 137). Meanwhile, Soper (ranked 467th) will meet Colbert (ranked 121st) at 8:00 p.m. on January 28th.
