Football Recap: Desert Mirage RAMS vs. Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs
Desert Mirage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 48-6 loss at the hands of the Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs. The match marked the RAMS's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.
It was another big night for Aaron Ramirez, who rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also caught a touchdown for Coachella Valley. Ramirez's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 117 rushing yards dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Derek Calderon, who threw for 130 yards and three touchdowns.
