Basketball Recap: Kedrin Evans' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Bloomingdale over Leto

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bloomingdale can now relate to. They fell 62-55 to the Leto Falcons on Wednesday. The Bulls were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 59-53.

Several Bulls players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kedrin Evans, who went 8 for 14 to rack up 22 points. Evans is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Caleb Zettel, who went 6 of 9 en route to 14 points.

Bloomingdale's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Leto, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-17.

Bloomingdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Leto, they will head out to take on Gaither at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Gaither's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests.
