Soccer Recap: Jordan-Matthews Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Jordan-Matthews was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They lost 10-1 to the Providence Grove Patriots. The Jets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Jordan-Matthews' goal came courtesy of Dulce Pineda, which was the first she's scored this season.

Jordan-Matthews now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Providence Grove, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Jordan-Matthews will square off against Phoenix Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Providence Grove, they will challenge Southeast Guilford at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Providence Grove is facing Southeast Guilford at the right time seeing as Southeast Guilford is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
