Baseball Recap: Fernandina Beach Gets the Win

Fernandina Beach won the last time they faced Englewood and things went their way on Thursday too. The Fernandina Beach Pirates had just enough and edged out the Englewood Rams 9-8.

The team relied heavily on Trace Farmer, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Landen Holbrook also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Fernandina Beach's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Englewood, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
