Basketball Recap: Sibley East Takes a Loss

Sibley East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 62-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Maple River Eagles. The Wolverines were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in December of 2019.

Sibley East's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Maple River, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-11.

Sibley East has already played their next game, a 56-53 defeat against St. Clair on the 4th. As for Maple River, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-46 victory against Sargent County on the 30th.
